LETTER: Could council be renamed?

I notice that a Kent council wishes to change its name to make the town more friendly and attract more tourists.

This made me think of the name of Rother and how this does not really do much for Bexhill. After all, the river Rother does not flow through Bexhill.

Bexhill is now the third largest town in East Sussex and continues to develop at an increasing rate.

How about renaming it Bexhill and District? What do you think?
