LETTER: Tories '˜in touch' or out of touch?

I have been passed a copy of '˜intouch' for the Collington by-election. As a member of the Democracy4Bexhill group I am astonished to read '˜Conservatives will not waste thousands of pounds OR ask you to pay more tax to deliver a town council'.

The Governance Review Steering Group, with an overwhelming Tory membership, has not even met yet. But they have apparently already pre-determined their decision. The review is therefore a farce.

This Tory-run Rother District Council is determined to prevent the people of Bexhill making its own decisions about the future of our town, the way that the people of Battle and Rye can.
