People are always so generous

On December 11 and 12 members of the Rotary Club of Battle took to the streets of Battle in the guise of Santa’s Little Helpers to collect funds for the organisations they will be supporting over the next 12 months.

The people of Battle were of course as generous as ever and I am delighted to announce that we were able to raise the magnificent sum of £946.

On behalf of the club I would like to thank most sincerely all those who contributed.

In general the Rotary Club of Battle likes to support local worthy causes.

They are varied in their purpose.

But I can assure our donors that future recipients of our club funds will be no less deserving than those in the past.
