Thank you, Conquest
THANK you, the Conquest Hospital. I have recently spent two weeks there, mainly in the Cookson Devas ward, having fallen and broken my hip. I want to thank the surgeon, doctors, nurses, cleaners etc, not forgetting the care assistants, who were amazing.
Some of them were on a 12-hour shift, looking after about 28 patients who had had orthopaedic surgery, and they cared for us all with patience and good humour.
When I got my appetite back, following a hip replacement operation, I really enjoyed the variety of meals which were served to us. I cannot praise enough the care I was given, and my grateful thanks go to all in the Cookson Devas ward.
