Tracing town’s Quaker history

I wonder if any readers can help with a research project I am doing with the Hastings Quakers?

The Quaker Meeting House in South Terrace will be 150 years old in early 2016.

I am particularly interested in any photos of South Terrace showing the Friends Meeting House, and any photos of the interior or exterior of the building. There were a number of notable Victorian and Edwardian Quaker families in Hastings, and I would welcome any new information on them:

The Tyler family: brothers Frederick William and Walter Henry, and the next generation, which included Percy D Tyler (who was an estate agent and very involved with the Tennis Club and YMCA); Harold Victor Tyler (who was a dentist), and Maude G Tyler (who was involved in amateur dramatics, ran a school of typing, and was prominent in the Liberal Party);

The Beck family, of whom the most interesting was Samuel Beck, who worked with prisoners, and helped develop Halton Mission; John Armitage and his radical poet wife Evelyn Noble Armitage; Gladys Goudge (singing/drama teacher); John Horniman, who owned The Creamery in Robertson Street; Joseph Joshua Green; John Lewis Linney and his daughter Priscilla, who were booksellers/stationers in Breed’s Place and London Road.

Wilson Crewdson, President of the Chess Club and Conservative candidate in the 1912 general election; Paul Phillip Vidler, a painter/decorator who lived in Halton.

But any information, of any Quakers, at any date, will be welcomed – and of course, properly credited in any subsequent publication.
