Walking bus to be reinstated?

I was very interested to read Derek Canty's letter to your opinion page, regarding traffic problems due to Little Common School.

Two of my children attended the school while Mr Pratt was headmaster and, as far as I can recall, a very successful walking bus operated at the beginning and end of the school day.

I understand this ceased due to ‘health and safety issues’, but we found it a useful and popular solution to traffic congestion.

It is a large school in a residential area with little natural parking, maybe it could be reinstated?
