Party in the Parklikely to sell-out

Bexhill Carnival's Party in the Park is expected to play to a sell-out crowd this year with online tickets to the free event now available.

Following the announcement of the stellar music line up, including, 1066 Rockitmen and The Tar Babies featuring 80’s pop sensation Nick van Eede and Gareth Moulton from The Cutting Crew, hundreds of local residents have logged on to grab their place at the penultimate event of Carnival week.

Paul Whitmarsh, Vice Chairman of the Carnival Committee said: “We are thrilled with the response and look forward to a night of great music. 2016’s Bexhill Carnival promises to be another great week in the town with lots of free events for the community including Walking Football, It’s a Knockout, Annual Dog Show, Party in the Park and ending with the Carnival Procession on Saturday July 30.

Bexhill Carnival Week, sponsored by Bexhill’s largest employer Hastings Direct, kicks off on Sunday July 24 with a week full of events for everyone to enjoy.

Party in the Park will be held on Friday July 29. All proceeds raised on the night will go towards the charity Entertainment Workshop – that delivers an alternative education programme for young people across the Hastings and Rother areas.
