Past Rotarians Christmas lunch

THE dining room at Cooden Beach Golf Club was packed last Friday for the annual Christmas lunch of Bexhill Club of Past Rotarians.

President Alan Gowans in a toast to the ladies and guests, welcomed President Alan and 13 friends from the Eastbourne Club.

He welcomed President Wally with three friends from the Tenterden Club, 29 members of the Ladies' Club and seven guests.

Concluding an accomplished and amusing speech, he said: "Christmas is all about friends and family and it is marvellous today to be here and surrounded by friends as one big family together. We are lucky to have you all with us."

The toastmaster for the occasion was Past Rotarian Leslie Goman. The raffle was organised by Past Rotarian Frank Chaplin.
