The auditorium at the De La Warr Pavilion is set to reopen for business although work to improve the air conditions at the venue will continue.
In recent months visitors to the pavilion and the seafront will have seen work being carried out which the DLWP hopes will make the auditorium warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
Th bulk of the cost of the project has been paid for by the Arts Council and began in January.
A spokesperson for the DWLP said: “The remaining work is to be completed behind the scenes and we anticipate that the systems will be in full working capacity by Easter.
“This project, of £500,000 in total, is supported by Arts Council England along with the Foyle Foundation, private donations from individuals including pavilion Patron Eddie Izzard and from funds designated by Rother District Council.”
If you are interested in supporting the DLWP, you can become a member or patron of the pavilion and play a part in its future.
