Pebsham PTA Summer Fair

IT WAS all the fun of the fair on Saturday when Pebsham PTA held their annual Summer Fair in the school grounds.

The event was opened by the Reverend David King from St Michaels church who, on cutting the ribbon, said: "It's a great pleasure to declare the fair well and truly open".

There was plenty to keep the crowds happy including face-painting, manicures, a toddler play area, bouncy castle, games of 'Tin Can Ally', 'Beat the Buzzer' and 'Welly Throwing'.

A tempting barbecue served only the best by way of organic burgers produced locally in Eastbourne by Friday Street Farm.

There was also a raffle, which Chair of the PTA Anna Ogilvie said was, 'well supplied thanks to the kind donations of many local companies'.

She added: " We've been very lucky to have received many vouchers for the raffle for family days out from companies such as Drucillas."

The event proved to be a great success and raised 2,377 which Anna said will be put towards purchasing Key Stage one computers for the school.

She also wished to thank her, "fantastic team of PTA parents and staff" for all their hard work.
