Pebsham supports its community centre despite the rain

Pebsham Community Centre was a busy scene at lunch-time today as Town Mayor Cllr Paul Lendon opened the association's Christmas fair.

A bouncy castle dominated the scene in the sports hall for the event, held to raise essential funds for the maintenance of the centre.

Visitors could try their hand at skittles, try guessing the weight of the Christmas cake, go gift-hunting or try their luck at the tombola and raffle.

From the kitchen, from where tea and coffee was being served, came the enticing aroma of bacon rolls being prepared to keep out that winter chill.
