Bexhill mum Penny Braker has always had dreams of running in the London Marathon.
And next month the keen runner will finally get to realise her dream.
Penny is running to raise funds for the NSPCC and is more than halfway to her £2,000 target.
On Saturday she held a disco in St Mark’s Hall in Little Common for all the children in her daughter’s year at Little Common School and raised a whopping £365 towards her cause.
All the children had a whale of a time dancing and consuming many treats.
Penny still has some way to go to reach her target for the London Marathon in April and would be delighted if Observer readers could visit her Virgin Money giving page and donate towards the worthy cause.
Please visit http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/giving/ and type in Penny Braker.
