The event, which saw a colourful banner being paraded, was organised by local campaigning group Women’s Voices.
Ann Kramer, from the group, explained: “‘Our theme this year was women and the environment. Worldwide women and children at the forefront of climate catastrophe so this event was designed to draw attention to the impact climate change is having on our lives.
