Kayleigh Hanks’ family and friends mark first anniversary: in pictures

The family and friends of Kayleigh Hanks gathered to lay flowers outside her old flat and released balloons at Egerton Park to mark a year since her death.

Kayleigh Hanks died at her flat in London Road, Bexhill, on July 21, 2019, at the age of 29. Her partner Ian Paton was found guilty of her murder in February and jailed for a minimum of 17 years. A year on, her friends and family said the pain caused on that day has not gone away. Read their words here.
