Tesco staff at Hastings hold their own Race for Life event to raise more than £2,500 for Cancer Research UK

The Race for Life running event at Hastings has been cancelled but that did not deter a team from Tesco Hastings Extra who decided to run their own event to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

You can still support the team’s amazing effort by donating at www.fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/tesco-hastings-extra.

This year it was hoped Race for Life would raise at least £30 million for Cancer Research UK. Although the outdoor event is cancelled the charity is encouraging people to take part at home. People can come up with their own exercise challenge and share it online with #RaceforLifeAtHome and nominate five friends to get involved. Then fundraise using a Giving Page or make a donation to the community fundraising page which has a link on the Cancer Research UK web site.
