The Rose & Crown Hungry Horse pub on Turkey Road, Bexhill, is celebrating the start of the school holidays by giving away free rainbow veggie sticks between the August 2 and 7.

Local families can quote the code word, ‘rainbow’, when ordering from the new kids’ menu to receive the healthy dish on the house.

Rose and Crown manager Sophie Hazelden said: “We know how unpredictable the British weather can be and wanted to make sure we brighten up the holidays for families come rain or shine, with a delicious and healthy giveaway.”

To be in with a chance of bagging the family holiday, people just need to post a summery photo of their family on the Hungry Horse Facebook page before Friday August 29.
