The St Michael’s Hospice Big Tea is set to return this spring.

Following the success of the Big Tea 2014, people in Hastings and Rother will be asked to hold tea parties on or around April 24 in support of the hospice.

Big Tea hosts are encouraged to invite friends and family over for a cup of tea and cake in return for a donation to the hospice.

The host can even hold raffles or small games and competitions to raise extra money. The Big Tea can be held at home or work.

The hospice is offering all Big Tea fundraisers a participant’s pack which will include a delicious brownie recipe from 1066 Bakery, the event sponsor, as well as a recipe from Irene Dibben, chairman of the Hospice’s Board of Trustees.

Jodie Cornford, hospice fundraising assistant said: “We’re incredibly excited to launch the Big Tea campaign again this year. Last year was very successful but this year we want the event to be even bigger and better! We have lots of ideas to get you started and offer support through our participants pack.”
