A23 Pyecombe to Patcham, East Sussex: carriageway investigation

Work to maintain safety on the A23 continues this week. Lane closures will be in place on both carriageways overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Tuesday 29 March for 6 consecutive nights.

A259, Little Common Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex: lighting investigation

Work to maintain safety on the A259 will start this week. Two way traffic lights will be in place between Green Lane and York Road overnight, between 8pm and 6am, on Sunday 3 April.

A26 Beddingham, East Sussex: carriageway surfacing

Work to maintain safety on the A26 will start this week. Lane closures will be in place with traffic escorted past the work site in a convoy overnight, between 8pm and 6am, on Monday 4 April for 1 night.

A27 Adur Viaduct, West Sussex: slip road improvements

Work to improve safety on the A27 by resurfacing the slip roads starts this week. The east and westbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Monday 4 April for 5 nights . A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the Holmbush interchange and Lancing roundabout.

A27 Offington Corner, West Sussex; carriageway resurfacing

Work to improve journeys by carrying out resurfacing will start this week. The westbound carriageway towards Grove Lodge and eastbound towards Clapham junction will be closed overnight, between 8pm and 5am from Monday 4 April for 5 nights. A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A27 and A24.

A27 Falmer Footbridge, East Sussex: bridge maintenance

Work to replace the ramp on the footbridge over the A27 at Falmer continues this week.

Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit remain in place on the westbound carriageway and the outside lane of the westbound exit slip road remains closed until the end of the scheme. Work is due to be complete in May 2016.

A27 Mill Hill, West Sussex: vegetation clearance

Work to improve journeys by carrying out vegetation clearance will start this week. Lane closures will be in place on both carriageways overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Tuesday 5 April for 4nights.

A27 Sompting to Lancing, West Sussex: footway investigation

Work to maintain safety on the A27 will start this week. Two way traffic lights will be in place between the Grove Lodge roundabout and Sompting Road junction overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Friday 1 April for 3 consecutive nights. In addition a lane closure will be in place will be in place on the eastbound carriageway between Sompting Road junction and Manor Road roundabout during the same time.
