Round Table's cheer

THE Dragonflies project is the latest local group to benefit from a donation courtesy of Bexhill Round Table's 12 Christmas Wishes.

Dragonflies operates in Bexhill and Rother, supporting children and young people who have been, or are in process of being bereaved.

Annette Hardy, manager of Dragonflies, said: "The donation from Round Table has assisted us with some family tickets for the pantomime at the De La Warr Pavilion, and some ice skating or go karting trips for the older children."

Trevor Wolford, from Bexhill Round Table, said: "We often take our families for granted, and Christmas for some could be the only time of year they meet as a group.

"We are delighted to be able to support this project at such a special time of the year."
