Emergency services are at the scene of a crash between a car and an ice-cream van on the A259 this evening (Thursday, January 7).
Police and paramedics were called to Little Common Road at 4:15pm to reports of a collision near to the B2182 Cooden Sea Road junction.
Officers are diverting traffic while the vehicles are being recovered. Initial reports suggest the occupants of the two vehicles suffered no major injuries.
The incident is causing congestion from the B2098 Sutherland Avenue to the Collington Lane East junction and to the Coneyburrow Lane junction.
Highways teams have been called to clear debris and an oil spillage following the crash.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area if possible.
