It’s that time of year when Leprechauns emerge with “renewed vigour and mesmeric performances” to celebrate St Patrick. They are now in their 26th year of doing so with their special brand of music and singalong. After a “rapturous” evening recently in the Wheatsheaf at Little Common, they will invade No 48 cafe in Devonshire Road tonight, Friday March 6.
They will be mingling over Irish stew from 7pm - book early for this so not to miss out by calling 01424 736600.
The Leprechauns will appear again in Eastbourne Workingmen’s Club on Saturday March 14 from 8.30pm.
They will be playing also in the Harp and the Sportsman on St Patrick’s Day itself on March 17, plus some nursing/care homes such as High Beeches and Queen Mary’s on March 18/19 for the entertainment and delight of residents and their families.
They have their traditional annual celebration in the Plough in Crowhurst on Thursday March 26 when the strains of the Wild Rover, Whiskey in the Jar, Big Chest, Molly Malone will re echo through the valley into the night.
