Sidley's heroin problem
SIDLEY has come in for a hammering from local residents who fear the drug problem is getting out of hand.
Paul Baker, who found his brother-in-law dead from an overdose of heroin in a house in Ninfield Road, Sidley, said: "I would not walk through Sidley after 9pm. You should see what goes on.
"Heroin is a real problem here. It is hard drugs that are the problem.
"Parents must be made aware of what is happening."
Jay Carroll, manager of Carrolls greengrocery and florist shop, Ninfield Road, said: "There's a lot of drug dealing and taking in the town. Most parents don't realise it's happening on their doorstep."
