Hills Farm Lane Football Club’s walking contingent took to the pitch last month for a friendly match against a team from Bexhill.
The Horsham-based club took on their Sussex counterparts on the 3G surface at the Holbrook Club.
The slow-paced version of the beautiful game aimed at the over-50s, is growing hugely in popularity across the country.
Walking football is designed to help people keep an active lifestyle irrespective of their age, as well as getting those back playing football who perhaps had to stop due to injuries.
