Startright under-5's

They have been given a garden space and have started holding events to raise funds for their new play area.

A table sale will be held at St Stephen's church hall in Woodsgate Park on May 24 and a summer fair on July 5 which will include a steam train and many activities, games and fun.

Startright has recently received a "good" Ofsted report which followed inspection at the end of March.

Supervisor Karen Saunderson said: "We had a good report - very promising and encouraging for us.

"When the Ofsted came in, I think they liked the small, warm, friendly feel of the place. They felt we were doing quite a varied selection of activities.

"So we are now trying to raise funds at the moment for our garden because we have been given a plot of land on the outside of the church to have a proper play garden."
