Super heroes fly during Y-Front Run

Men won their Y-fronts with pride at Alexander Park on Sunday when they took part in a run to help raise awareness of male cancer along with raising vital funds for both national and local charities.

Organiser Jo Brazier said: “This is the fourth year the event has taken place and it is getting bigger and better every year.

“There were plenty of super heroes making an appearance this year,

This year we had the Healthy Living Fair in the park, so people taking part in the run, enjoyed getting involved with that too.

“We had a very positive response from the Healthy Living Fair and they are keen to be involved next year.

There was some drizzle at the start of the event but by the time the runners lined up the sun was shining and it just got better and better.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and took part and to all the volunteers and marshals who made it possible.

“We are now looking forward to welcoming everyone for next year’s run in September.”
