Sussex weather forecast for the week ahead

The week ahead will see a spell of autumn showers in the south east, as well as a chance of hail and thunder.

Tonight (Sunday, September 13), the Met Office said outbreaks of rain are likely, some of which may be heavy, especially near coastal areas.

Tomorrow, (Monday), will bring sunny spells with scattered showers, and there is a chance of hail and thunder. Temperatures could hit 18 degrees.

Tuesday will be a drier day, but strong winds and heavy rain returns on Wednesday,

Thursday is set to be windy, but without rain.

There are no weather warnings in place for next week.
