Take your FRONT ROW fashion extravaganza seats
The much anticipated unique fashion, music and performance art experience FRONT ROW will again explode onto Bexhill's iconic De La Warr Pavilion stage this coming Saturday (November 26).
The annual event, recognised by fashionistas as one of the South Coast’s most spectacular shows, boasts a different theme each year. Creative Director, Maika Crampton says this year’s theme is ‘Wearable Art’.
“At FRONT ROW we blur boundaries between performance, art, music and fashion,” she said. “The De La Warr Pavilion will be buzzing with visual installations, installation art, fashion stalls, contemporary dance and live music performances by Maggie K de Monde of Scarlet Fantastic and Paris Indie band Pussy Chérie.”
Maika says designers from around the UK have been taking part in the ‘WearUrArt’ Charity Shop Design Challenge and will present their creations in an epic showcase and award ceremony that inspires. “Participants are encouraged to be as outrageous and innovative as possible, using unusual and surprising materials sourced from charity shops to a budget of only £30!
“Previous design challenges have unearthed astonishing entries from creative talents of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Fashion Anarchy starts here with Wearable Art!”
Entries have been hand picked and will be awarded on the night by multi-award winning costume designers Jenny Beavan (Mad Max Fury Road, Sherlock Holmes) and John Bright (Room with a View).
