The choir would like to thank everyone who supported them during the past year and in particular their Musical Director Edna Akam who has worked so hard on their behalf with many new arrangements. Edna joined early in 2014 and the ladies look forward to another successful year under her direction.

They were pleased that the De La Warr Pavilion agreed to their performing there on December 6 when they sang Christmas songs and carols and thanks to the generosity of their supporters and visitors to the Pavilion, they were able to send £200 to Children in Need. They sang at the De La Warr Pavilion during the Bexhill Festival of Music in June and were able to send donations to Motor Neurone Disease and the Tree of Hope on that occasion. They also enjoyed taking part in St Michael’s Hospice 12 hour sing and performed at many nursing and residential homes around Bexhill and groups further afield

too. They are looking forward to their next visit to the De La Warr Pavilion for the Bexhill Festival of Music in June 2015. The choir is currently 25 strong but new members are always most welcome. Visit their website www.bexhillharmony.co.uk or go along to Parkhurst Hall in Bexhill at 7pm on Thursday evenings and meet this friendly group. As well as singing together they organise social events which during 2014 have included theatre visits and meals out as well as a pampering evening.
