Bexhill Seagirls WI Choir were delighted to have been invited to join the Mayor, Cllr Brian Kentfield, the Lady Mayoress, Cllr Stuart Earl and the congregation at St Peter’s Church in Old Town on December 7, to celebrate the St Michael’s Hospice ‘Lights of Love’ service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance.

The choir sang two Salvation Army carols, A Starry Night and Noel during the service before processing along with the mayoral party and members of the congregation from St Peters to Bexhill Hospital where lights were switched on amongst Christmas trees. St Michaels Hospice made everyone welcome afterwards by sharing hot drinks and mince pies with those who had been involved.
