Time running out for Lotto winner to claim prize

TIME IS running out for a lucky National Lottery player to come forward to claim an outstanding prize of over a quarter of a million pounds.

The National Lottery is urging players in the local area to double check their tickets as the 251,657 Lotto prize remains unclaimed.

The winning ticket, purchased in the Bexhill and Hastings area, matched five numbers plus the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on 30 December 2009.

The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 5, 14, 27, 29, 34, 35 and the bonus ball was 4.

The lucky ticket-holder only has until 5.30pm on 28 June 2010 to make their claim.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the National Lottery Good Causes.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: "We're desperate to find this missing ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings. We have the champagne on ice, as well as our fingers crossed, that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their prize."
