Motorist stopped in Bexhill had 33 points on his licence
A motorist who was stopped by police in Bexhill was found to have 33 points on his licence.
Sussex Roads Police said the driver was stopped on Tuesday night (March 16).
A spokesman for the police said officers pulled over the vehicle after its MOT showed as expired.
However, when making further enquiries, it was found that the driver was banned, according to police.
Police said he claimed to have no idea about his ban, or the 33 points on his licence.
Motorists can be disqualified from driving if they build up 12 or more penalty points within a period of three years.
