There are delays of six minutes and increasing on the A264 eastbound between Tower Road and A2220 Horsham Road, the AA said. The average speed is ten mph.

Sussex Roads Police said a two vehicle crash on the A27 westbound has forced the closure of lane one.

Delays in are being reported in the area.

Queueing traffic is being reported on the A27 Polegate By Pass both ways between Brown Jack Avenue and the A22 Polegate Road (Cop Hall Roundabout) in the construction area, the AA said. Lane restrictions are in place for long term carriageway works. The eastbound side is heavily congested.

The B2092 Harley Shute Road is closed due to gas main work both ways between Conqueror Road and Asten Close.

The A22 Lewes Road is closed both ways with stationary traffic due to an accident from the B2110 Hartfield Road to Hindleap Lane (Wych Cross). The road was closed at around 2.15pm, affecting traffic between Forest Row and Wych Cross.

On the railway network there are no direct services between London Victoria and Brighton in both directions, Southern Rail said. Passengers can use Thameslink services via Three Bridges and East Croydon.

Due to urgent repairs to the track between Three Bridges and Brighton, emergency engineering works will be taking place overnight tonight.

Late night and early morning trains will be cancelled between Three Bridges and Brighton in both directions.

The last trains to run between Three Bridges to Brighton will be the 11:53pm Three Bridges to Brighton and the 11:37pm Brighton to Three Bridges. Rail replacement buses will be running after these services between Three Bridges and Brighton, calling at all stations in between.
