East Sussex Highways confirmed The Ridge will remain open throughout the 11 weeks but there will be temporary traffic lights in place.

The works are likely to cause delays for westbound traffic travelling to Conquest Hospital and the Hastings Centre, where vaccines are currently being rolled out.

Chowns Hill will be closed for the duration of the works between The Ridge and Denehurst Gardens.

The bus stop at the junction of Chowns Hill and The Ridge will be suspended for the duration of the works.
