Sussex traffic bulletin, June 16: Here is what the roads look like this morning

Here is the latest traffic news from across Sussex this morning (Tuesday, June 16).

The roads across Sussex are largely clear of congestion this morning with no major queues of traffic.

But there are a number of roadworks and other ongoing works across the county that have closed some routes.

There are temporary traffic signals due to electricity work on B2192 Lewes Road at New Road in Ringmer, according to the AA, as well as temporary traffic lights due to construction on Bell Lane near The Swan Inn, Lewes.

Gas main work is taking place on Clays Hill both ways near Maudlin Lane in Steyning, with temporary traffic lights in place.

There are temporary traffic signals due to gas main work on Union Place near A259 High Street in Worthing, as well as on the A259 Goring Road at Shaftesbury due to telecoms work, according to the AA.

In Hastings there are temporary traffic lights as gas main work continues on the A259 Old London Road between High Street and Ashburnham Road.

There are also temporary traffic lights due to similar work on Harley Shute Road at Gillsmans Hill in St Leonards.
