Firefighters rescued a woman crashing her car into a tree in Bexhill Old Town this morning (September 16).
Two East Sussex Fire and Rescue crews from Bexhill and Hastings were mobilised at 8.40am to King Offa Way A259.
The injured woman was able to walk free from the car and was left in the care of paramedics.
Crews left at 9.30am after making the scene safe.
Watch manager Robin Thompson, who was at the incident, said: “The main emphasis of crews was securing the car because it was on the bank and cutting away enough of the tree and foliage to gain access to the car.”
