Witness appeal after moped rider seriously injured in Bexhill collision

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to a single vehicle road traffic collision in Bexhill.

Officers and ambulance crews were called to a crash involving a moped in Barnhorn Road, Bexhill at 10.10am today (Wednesday, May 27).

Police said the moped rider, a 63-year-old man, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Road closures are currently in place and are due to be lifted.

Anyone who witnesses what happened or saw the white Honda moped prior to the crash is asked to report online or call 101, quoting Operation Starling.
