Elsewhere on the line there are delays of up to 15 minutes between Ashford International and Brighton as well as a reduced service between Eastbourne and Brighton due to the landslide near Ripe.

Services from Sussex to Wales and the South West are also severely delayed due to engineering works at Reading.

Further works are due to begin tomorrow (March 26) with replacement bus services between Horsham and Arundel as well as between Barnham and Bognor Regis.

While the roads are expected to get busier later today there are currently no major delays reported on the A27, A272, A23 or M23.
