TRAVEL NEWS: Conductor sickness continues to disrupt services

Southern Railway has said there is still a number of disruptions to services this morning due to a high level of conductor and driver sickness.

According to Southern, delays this morning include:

The 8.21am London Victoria train to Brighton is cancelled due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time.

The 8.32am and 9.32am Southampton Central trains to Brighton are cancelled, due to a shortage of train conductors.

The 9.13am Southampton Central to Horsham is also cancelled due to a shortage of train crew.

Southern said rail tickets are being accepted on bus services operated by Brighton and Hove buses between Shoreham and Brighton (Route 2) and between Brighton and Eastbourne via Seaford (Route 12), and on bus services operated by Metrobus between Redhill and Reigate.

Southern only ticket holders may also travel with Great Western Railway on train services between Redhill and Reigate.
