Malcolm, a local UFO and Paranormal Investigator, has given lectures at many strange places over the years from a bus speeding down a motorway to addressing eight of the most hardened criminals in a special unit at Shotts Penitentiary near Glasgow.

Adding to this list of unusual places was the World War Two tunnels carved into cliffs below Fort Southwick on Portsdown Hill overlooking the Naval base at Portsmouth in Hampshire.

These tunnels were the nerve centre for Operation Overlord during the Second World War which helped co-ordinate the D-Day landings. They were excavated by the 172 tunnelling company of the Royal Engineers between February and December 1942 and extend 100 feet deep into the bowels of the hill. On D-Day June 6, there were 700 personnel working underground.

Malcolm was asked to lecture to members of the British press on the “What If” scenario, what would the people of the United Kingdom do faced with an alien threat. Of course we can but speculate Malcolm stated.

The rest of the morning was taken up with interactive games as the media representatives and Malcolm, hunted for an alien missile in this underground base.

Malcolm and the press were ushered into a small room just off one of the tunnels where a slimy looking tall creature lay on a table.

A man in a white plastic forensic suit with a face mask on was prodding and dissecting this creature.

Malcolm said: “The whole scene was pretty bizarre . You honestly felt you were in a scene from Independence Day it was so well put together.”

Malcolm was told the alien was a prop that was actually used in the movie.

Malcolm has written four books with his fifth, Paranormal Case Files of Great Britain (Volume 2) out in January 2017.
