THERE was plenty of festive spirit on display as scores of runners descended on Ashburnham Place this morning (Saturday).
A healthy entry of 300-plus runners competed in the ninth annual staging of the Christmas Pudding Dash, a multi-terrain five-mile race
held in glorious surroundings.
The field contained a good mix of experienced runners and those looking for a pre-Christmas bit of running fun. Christmas dress was
encouraged, but wasn’t compulsory.
