Sussex weather forecast for Thursday, January 28

Today (Thursday, January 28) will see a rainy start to the day in Sussex but it will get increasingly dry and bright, according to the Met Office.

It will be breezy but there will be plenty of sunny spells developing by late morning.

The Met Office said the winds will slowly ease throughout the afternoon and the maximum temperature is expected to be 13°C.

Tonight it will be dry at the start before a spell of heavy rain moves in and clears again by midnight, the Met Office said.

Afterwards it will be breezy with clear spells and scattered heavy showers.

The minimum temperature is expected to be 7°C.
