Hospice Care Week is an annual awareness-raising week to raise the profile of Hospice care across the UK and runs from October 5 - 11.

This year their theme is Connecting Care, where they will be highlighting the special role that Hospices play in connecting individuals and families, connecting with local communities and connecting people with each other.

St Michael’s Hospices (Hastings and Rother) provides high quality, personalised care for adults throughout Hastings and Rother living with life-limiting illness, supporting them to live life as fully as possible.

The Hospice also supports dying people and their families, so that they can spend their final moments in dignity and peace.

Bruni Llovet, Head of Marketing at St Michael’s Hospice said: “We are very proud to bring together a diverse range of professionals and volunteers to work side-by-side to support dying people and their families when they need it most.

“We connect Hospice staff with a range of professionals in other organisations including The Conquest Hospital and local care homes, which we have many partnerships to improve end of life care”.
