An elderly Bexhill man’s life was ‘taken over’ by a fraudster who stole £240,000 from him but was jailed last Friday, features on the front page alongside a generous donation to a family fighting to get Neil walking.

The Jenkins’, of Amherst Road, are raising money for the husband and father to receive life-saving treatment in Israel and £1,000 was slipped through the door by an anonymous donor.
