Witnesses sought after Bexhill collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car failed to stop following a collision in Bexhill.

At about 9.25pm on Tuesday (May 31) two vehicles collided in De La Warr Road, Bexhill, at the junction with College Road.

Sussex Police said one of the vehicles, a green Toyota Hilux pick-up truck, overturned on to its roof, and the driver, a 56-year-old Bexhill man was treated at Conquest Hospital for minor injuries.

Police added the other vehicle, a silver or white BMW, did not stop at the scene, making off towards Ravenside, and will most likely have sustained extensive front end damage.

PC James Swap said: “If you have any information please contact us by email [email protected] or call 101, quoting serial 1701 of 31/05.”
