Woman‘s body found in car in East Sussex village

Officers were called to the scene in Battle Road at Three Cups Corner, near Heathfield, shortly after 11am.

The woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, Sussex Police said.

Her death is currently being treated as unexplained, according to police.

The coroner’s officer has been informed.
