Historic St Mary’s Church at Battle will provide the setting for an afternoon of high quality chamber music.

The Primrose Piano Quartet was founded ten years ago by four of the UK’s leading chamber musicians, members and ex-members of the Lindsay, Allegri and Maggini String Quartets.

The group had regular performances in London’s leading concert halls, commissions from some of the UK’s top composers, six CDs released on the Meridian and international tours.

Two of the Quartet’s members, violinist Susanne Stanzeleit and cellist, Andrew Fuller, live in the Battle area.

The concert will raise funds for Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

Tickets are available online at or in person from “Spoilt Rotten” in Battle.
