Youngsters get focussed on Pavilion

THREE successful workshops for young people on Stills Photography, Film in a Day and Digital Music Technology were celebrated at the De La Warr Pavilion on Monday evening.

They were all part of the Sound Architect Film & Media Festival run during this years Access All Areas event.

The workshops were entitled 'The Rush of the Blue' and the participants could interpret this theme in any way they wished. The sessions were lead by media charity Sound Architect (Music & Film) Ltd in partnership with Musikata and Access All Areas.

On Monday 17th November those who participated in the sessions came together over some light refreshments to view each other's work.

The film 'Rush of the Blue' was premiered and an exhibition of mounted photographs by the young people was on display.

An award was given by Peter Lindsey, Editor of the Observer series, to David Edmett for Best Photographic Image.

This year the Festival received over 20 film submissions from young people, who received a Certificate of Screening together with a Review of their work by a professional from the world of film or media.
