Has anyone asked about impact?

In recent reports in the Bexhill Observer we read of plans to locate more housing at Preston Hall Farm site at Bexhill, also more homes possibly to be placed at the site of the former sports field at Sidley.

There are also discussions apparently with developers for the Worsham site at Bexhill.

I am sure all our intrepid councillors are very exited at the prospect of more council tax to support their salaries, it must be a huge draw.

Has anybody spoken to schools in our area about available places I wonder?

Has any thought been given to the fact that the A&E department of the Conquest Hospital is at times somewhat overcrowded, or that medical treatment waiting times are soaring and that getting a GPs appointment has become a marathon?

We always, in these cases are told there are the added attraction of the prospect of jobs in the area.

Well that’s alright then, just fill the area with commercial units and even more ‘affordable’ housing.

Does anyone feel our road infrastructure is at a standstill at peak times and as for parking almost anywhere, forget it.

Mind you there are usually plenty of parking spaces in the De La Warr Pavilion car park at £1.50 an hour!
