He has restored my faith in people

I would like to thank the young man who saved the day and restored my faith in young people this weekend.

Shortly after 5pm this Sunday, whilst on my way back from my son’s house in Little Common, my mobility scooter broke down in South Cliff leaving me stranded some way from home.

Luckily for me, a young man called Julian was on his way back from working at the De La Warr pavilion and stopped to help.

He pushed me for half-an-hour (no mean feat,) as scooter was still in gear and I am no light weight at over 6ft and slightly beyond my prime!

What’s more, Julian refused anything for his kindness and having delivered me home safe and sound left with the words: “I was happy to help”.

Thanks Julian, you are a star. From a grateful OAP.
