Is Fred Karno alive and well and working for the council and highways authority?
Monday morning and traffic lights appear once again on the Marina whilst engineers rip up a perfect unblemished and nearly new section of pavement in front of De La Warr. Asking a employee why I was told: “It was the wrong colour should have been black not red.” If the council have a surplus of black Tarmac to get rid of might I suggest they use it to fill the numerous potholes in Bexhill’s roads or is that too simplistic to think of?
